My name is George and I was married for 17 years but then my wife left me for a man she had known from her past. We have three lovely children and one grandchild. After my wife left me I had a nervous breakdown and spent a short time in hospital. My life was all mixed up and I did not know where my life was going.
Then I met a couple on the same college course as myself and they invited me to a church Karaoke evening and I really enjoyed it. Then they invited me to an Alpha course evening, which led to me going on an Alpha course, and it was while I was on the course that I realised that I needed God in my life. I became aware that I was a sinner and that Jesus died for the forgiveness of my sins.
It was the best thing I have ever done because I now have a purpose in my life and I have a new family and friends who help and support me.
