Dave & Lorraine

Dave Wade is the lead elder, married to Lorraine and living in Darwen.  They have been involved in planting churches across the north west of England for a number of years. Dave was instrumental in planting Community Church Blackburn in 2000, and continues to lead full-time. His gifting's lie in evangelism with an emphasis on healing, and he often travels in UK to share the gospel and pray for the sick.  Dave is also working with a growing number of churches in Romania.  Lorraine has pastoral gifts and is part of the worship team. They have two adult children and an increasing number of grandchildren!

Andy & Lin

Andy Parr is an elder, married to Lin and living in Leyland. Andy is a primary school teacher (part-time) and works with Dave two days a week using his pastoral and teaching gifts in building up the church. Lin works in administration at a local sixth form college and she is also  involved with the worship and  youth. They became Christians as a young married couple and  have worked for several years as missionaries in Japan. They have since been involved in church leadership in Leyland. They have three grown up children, and two grandchildren.
